Hello!
I am a 24-year-old photographer and artist currently based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have loved taking pictures since I was a little girl, heightened when I received a camera as an early birthday present. When they asked us what we wanted to be in pre-school and everyone else's answers were things like "astronaut" or "the president" - my answer was always "photographer".
I love capturing people's personalities in my photos. My favorite part of being able to do this is bringing out the individual charm and really focus on my client's inner light, making it shine in a way that they haven’t necessarily experienced before. I particularly enjoy collaborating creatively with my clients and models, materializing and bringing to life ideas that exist only in imagination.
I also love to add pieces of me to my work by drawing on them or editing them in a more physical way, which helps me feel more connected to the things I make. My dad was an artist, so I grew up making art and drawing constantly. I am not someone who tends to "color in the lines". Art was something that carried over into my adult life as a constant; I used it as an outlet for my own personal tribulations and I am very grateful for it. Making the art in the portfolios you see on this website has helped me through more things than I could list out.
I truly love this. I still get that Christmas morning feeling every single time I export from a shoot.
